Marlon Higgins, BSc, CPA

Group General Manager

Marlon Higgins' professional experience was acquired in the domestic and international banking sectors of Antigua and Barbuda over a dozen years in various areas including operations, business development, corporate governance, and finance and accounting. During the past 5 years, he provided strategic financial advisory services to executive management teams of Antigua banking institutions with tier-1 capital ranging from US$2.5 million to US$80 million, and having over US$175 million assets under management. He worked extensively in capital protection and augmentation projects, e-commerce business development projects, and provided consultation on the implementation of bank policies and procedures. Higgins also worked closely with Boards of Directors and Audit Committees on corporate governance related engagements, as well as with AML/CTF Compliance departments at various banking institutions in Antigua and Barbuda. He currently holds the position of Group General Manager of Global Bank of Commerce Ltd. with responsibility for the accounting and finance function of the Bank, and management of the branch operations.

Erita Griffith CAMS

Group Compliance Manager

Erita Griffith is the Bank's designated Compliance Officer, and manages the risk management program to ensure that appropriate Due Diligence and Know Your Customers (KYC) procedures in place to prevent the threat of money laundering and financing of terrorism. She has more than 20 years banking experience including senior administrative positions in managing client accounts and fund transfers. She became a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) in 2003, and is a founding member of the Antigua and Barbuda Compliance Association (ABCA), a member of the ACAMS Caribbean Task Force, and has presented to the Caribbean Financial Action Task Force (CFATF). Griffith is responsible for AML/CTF training and the development of a strong compliance culture across the financial services group.

Juliene James

Group Manager, Human Resources & Corporate Administration

Juliene James is responsible for the Bank's Human Resources, training, and corporate responsibilities. A graduate of the University of the West Indies, she has more than 20 years experience with the banking group and provides administrative support to the affiliate companies and the directive of their boards. She assists the Bank's representation with the Antigua and Barbuda Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Employers' Federation, and the Hotel and Tourism Association. She is a founding director and member of the Human Resource Professionals of Antigua & Barbuda and a member of the Society of Human Resource Management.

Brian Stuart-Young CAMS

Chief Executive Officer

Brian Stuart- Young is CEO of Global Bank of Commerce, a position he has held for several years, and has supervised the growth and development of the financial institution and related group companies involved in financial services. In addition to Board responsibilities, he manages the Bank's corporate head office at Global Financial Centre, Friars Hill Road, St. John's, Antigua, and also oversees all strategic relations for the Banking group.
